Healthy Churros By: Solange Martinez-Gonzales Course Desserts Cooking Technique Air Frying Keywords (1 quart or 950 ml) water, 8 servings, air frying, all purpose or whole-wheat, baking powder, chocolates and sweets, desserts, healthy, instant vortex, olive oil, or sweetener of choice, salt Servings 8 Servings Ingredients 1½ cups (1 quart or 950 ml) water1 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp monk fruit or sweetener of choice1 pinch salt1⅔ cups (215 g) flour all purpose or whole-wheat1 tbsp baking powder Instructions In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder.In the Instant Pot® inner pot, water, sweetener, salt, and olive oil and bring to a boil.Once boiled, mix in the dry ingredients to form a homogeneous and sticky dough.Place the dough in a pastry bag. Form the churros and place on a tray and freeze for 1 hour before cooking.Line Instant Vortex tray with parchment paper and set frozen churros on it.On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, then set time to 12 Minutes and temperature to 355ºF (180°C).
