Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned
  • Salt, as needed
  • Pepper, as needed
  • Garlic powder, as needed
  • Paprika, as needed
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 16 oz. Velveeta
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • Burger seasoning (I used Kinder’s Caramelized Onion Burger)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 4 pieces cooked bacon, chopped
Cheeseburgers? In dip form? Get ready to wow your game-day crowd with this party-pleasing appetizer! Ground beef, onions, and cheese come together in the most beautiful way in this recipe—just wait for the cheese pull!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sauté the ground beef on High until browned.
  2. Once the ground beef is cooked, mix in the chopped red and yellow onions, chopped pickles, mayo, ketchup, mustard, Velveeta, Monterey Jack cheese, chopped bacon, and burger seasoning.
  3. Broil on High at 400°F / 205°C for 3 minutes. Once this program is complete, stir occasionally until the cheese is completely melted.
  4. Broil on High again at 400°F / 205°C for 3 minutes. When finished, top with chopped green onions and more chopped bacon.
  5. Serve warm with fresh tortilla chips and enjoy!
