Witches Brew

Ingredients
  • 5 clementines halved
  • 2 honeycrisp apples, sliced
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup dates
  • 1 tbsp cloves
  • 3 whole nutmegs
  • 6 star anise pods
  • 1 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 10 cups water
  • 2 lemons peeled and juiced
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • Sliced clementines, for serving
Instructions
  • Add clementine halves, lemon peels, sliced apples, raisins, dates, cloves, nutmeg, star anise, black peppercorn, and water to the Precision Dutch Oven.
  • Set the temperature to 200°F / 93°C and cook for one hour.
  • After one hour, add the reserved lemon juice and brown sugar.
  • Gently smash the cooked clementines and apples. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the brew over a fine mesh strainer.
  • Return the strained brew back to the pot to keep warm.
  • Serve with clementine slices and enjoy!
