Vortex Plus - Mini Popovers


  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Generously coat a heatproof silicone egg bite mold or mini popover pan with nonstick spray.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and process at medium speed for 30 seconds.
  • Fill each mold with a scant 2 tbsp of batter (you may have extra batter left over).
  • Place the drip pan in the bottom of the cooking chamber. Place one cooking tray upside down in the top position (this will prevent over-browning) and place the other in the lowest position of the cooking chamber.
  • Using the display panel, select AIRFRY, then adjust the temperature to 400°F and the time to 20 minutes, then touch START.
  • When the display indicates “Add Food” carefully place the egg bite mold on the lower cooking tray.
  • When the display indicates “Turn Food” do nothing.
  • When the popovers are brown, open the cooking chamber, quickly pierce each popover with a sharp knife to release steam, then continue cooking 1-2 minutes more.
  • Serve immediately.
