Sausage Stew with Pizza Sauce


  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 2 oz red onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 3 cups sugar-free pizza sauce
  • 12 oz Vienna sausages
  • 12 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian spice mix
  • Coat bottom of 6-quart (5.5 L) Instant Pot with coconut oil.
  • Add the ground beef, onion and garlic and press Sauté. Cook meat for 5 Minutes or until beef is well done.
  • Press Cancel to stop sauteing. Drain excess fat. Add the rest of the ingredients. Close lid, press Pressure Cook or Manual Cook and set the timer for 5 Minutes.
  • When done cooking, let the pressure release naturally.
  • Remove the lid and stir well before serving.
