Roasted Asparagus


  • 15 asparagus spears
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives
  • Cut off ¾ in (2 cm) from the ends of the asparagus stems Put the asparagus in a bowl and season with the condiments listed above.
  • On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Roast, then set time to 20 Minutes and temperature to 355ºF (180ºC). Press Start.
  • Once Add Food appears on the display, open the Instant Vortex basket and spread out the asparagus on the rack. Close.
  • When Turn Food appears on the display, shake the asparagus, close again and continue cooking.
  • Remove and serve.
