Ingredients

  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup powdered sugar

Soft, chewy, and bursting with rich chocolate flavor, these Red Velvet Air Fryer Crinkle Cookies are a quick and delicious treat! Made with cocoa powder, a touch of brown sugar for added depth, and coated in powdered sugar for a classic crinkle effect, these cookies bake up in the air fryer in just 10-12 minutes. Perfect for holidays or anytime you want a sweet red velvet fix!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, both sugars, melted butter and vanilla extract. Add in the eggs and whisk until smooth.
  2. Sift in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt and whisk until combined. The dough will be soft so cover the bowl with saran wrap and chill for 45-60 minutes.
  3. After the dough has chilled, set the Instant Pot Air Fryer Vortex Plus to Bake at 350°F / 177°C. Scoop the dough and roll in the remaining powdered sugar. Place 4 of the dough balls into the preheated air fryer basket and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set. Repeat until all the cookies are made. Enjoy!
