Pickle Fries with Garlic Aioli Burger Sauce

By:

Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 10 dill pickle spears
  • Organic vegetable cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
Instructions
  • Lay out three separate mixing bowls. In one, place the flour. In another, place the beaten eggs. In the final, place the panko breadcrumbs and the salt.
  • Begin by dipping the dill pickle spears in the flour. Then coat the pickle spears with the egg mixture. Be careful to cover all crevices as the egg wash will be difficult to adhere to the skin of the pickles. Finally, dip in the panko breadcrumbs. Repeat as necessary and set aside.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with organic vegetable oil spray. Place pickle spears in the basket with space between them, and spray with more oil spray. Air Fry at 400°F / 205°C for 12 – 15 Minutes or until golden and crispy, turning over each spear halfway for even cooking.
  • While the pickle fries are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated garlic, salt, lemon juice, yellow mustard, and ketchup until smooth. Serve the pickle fries hot or warm with the burger sauce.
