Depending on the size, you should get 5-6 chunks.Place plantain chunks in a bowl, brush with oil, salt lightly and place on top of the rack.On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, then set time to 10 Minutes and temperature to 355°F (180°C).Once cooked, remove the plantain chunks, place them on an oiled board and smash them using a jar lid or a pataconera (plantain press).Once pressed, brush with some oil and salt.On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, set time to 5 Minutes and temperature to 355ºF (180°C).Lastly, remove the patacones and serve with cocona chili or other dipping sauce of your choice.
