2 lbs. boneless, skinless, chicken breast, cut into 1-inch chunks
½ cup hot sauce
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 green onion, finely sliced
Instructions
Set up a breading station with two bowls. In the first bowl add the flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, paprika, salt and pepper, and mix well.
In the second bowl whisk the eggs. Working one at a time, dip the chicken pieces into the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, so they are not overlapping. Cook two batches if necessary.
Make sure the cooking pan is inserted in the oven at the air fry level.
Select Air Fry at 375°F / 190°C and set the time for 15 minutes. Press Start.
When the oven is preheated, place the air fryer basket with the chicken on the cooking pan in the oven.
While chicken is cooking, combine the hot sauce and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well, until sauce is smooth.
When the cooking time is complete, carefully remove the chicken and place it in a bowl. Drizzle the hot sauce over the chicken pieces and toss well to coat.
Place the chicken on a serving plate and sprinkle with green onion slices. Serve with a ranch dipping sauce. Enjoy!
