Omni 18L Family - Spicy Buffalo Chicken Bites

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless, chicken breast, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 green onion, finely sliced
Instructions
  • Set up a breading station with two bowls. In the first bowl add the flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, paprika, salt and pepper, and mix well.
  • In the second bowl whisk the eggs. Working one at a time, dip chicken pieces into egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  • Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, so they are not overlapping. Cook two batches if necessary.
  • Make sure the cooking pan is inserted in the oven at the air fry level.
  • Select Air Fry375°F / 190°C and set time for 15 minutes. Press Start.
  • When oven is preheated place the air fryer basket with the chicken on the cooking pan in the oven.
  • While chicken is cooking, combine the hot sauce and melted butter in a bowl and mix well until sauce is smooth.
  • When cooking time is completed, carefully remove the chicken and place it in a bowl. Drizzle the hot sauce over the chicken pieces and toss well to coat all the pieces.
  • Place chicken on a serving plate and sprinkle with green onion slices. Serve with a ranch dipping sauce.
