Ingredients
  • 12 mini Hawaiian rolls (one package)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 20 slices calabrese salami (see recipe note)
  • 20 slices genoa salami (see recipe note)
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup giardiniera, chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
  • Preheat the air fryer to 340°F / 170°C. While the air fryer is preheating, assemble your sandwiches.
  • Keeping the Hawaiian rolls attached, slice them in half horizontally. Layer provolone cheese evenly over the rolls, followed by calabrese salami, genoa salami, red onion slices, and chopped giardiniera. Place the top half of the rolls over the layers, pressing gently.
  • Carefully place in the air fryer basket. If your basket is too small, cut the rolls in half and work in two batches. Air fry at 340°F / 170°C for 10 minutes total. After 7 minutes, carefully brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt.
  • Continue cooking for the remaining 3 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  • Carefully remove the sliders from the air fryer basket using tongs or spatulas. Cut into individual servings or allow guests to pull apart. Serve warm.
Notes
  • If the salami slices are large, reduce the amount in the ingredients by half.
