Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2¼ tsp yeast
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Microwave milk, pour into mixer bowl, sprinkle with yeast, mix lightly, and cover for 5 Minutes to activate yeast.
  2. When the mixture begins to bubble, add flour, honey, sugar, melted butter, and salt.
  3. Using the hook of the mixer on medium speed, knead for 5 to 6 Minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, form balls with each piece.
  5. Insert the stainless steel bowl into the Instant Pot®. Cover the bowl with butter paper and put the buns inside.
  6. Put on and lock the lid of the Instant Pot®. Make sure the steam release valve is turned to “Open” (Venting). Press Slow Cook and set the time to 3 Hours .
  7. When opening the lid of the Instant Pot®, verify that the bottom of the buns are golden.
  8. Brush with milk on top, sprinkle with a little coarse salt and grill from the oven for 1-2 Minutes until golden brown on top.
