Ingredients

  • ⅓ oz ghee or butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 L bone broth
  • 3 large white onions
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 tsp goat cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the stainless steel inner pot inside the Instant Pot®. Press Saute. Set the cooking time to 3 Minutes. Add the butter, stirring gently with a wooden spoon until it melts. Add soy sauce and oil.
  2. Add the onion cut into strips and stir well. Add the broth and stir.
  3. Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Pressure Cook, pressure level High, and set the time to 40 Minutes.
  4. Once the time is up, press Cancel and manually release the pressure by turning the steam release handle to the Venting position. Once all the pressure has been released, open the lid of the Instant Pot® and serve in individual ramequins. You can add a piece of toasted sourdough bread and grated goat cheese.
