Golden Broiled Potato Slices


  • 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp thyme
  • 3 tbsp parmesan powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • lemon wedges
  • Dijon mustard
  • Peel the potatoes and slice the them into 1/8-inch-thick rounds with a mandolin.
  • In a small bowl, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a microwave.
  • Add the minced garlic clove, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 tbsp thyme, 2 tbsp parmesan powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Place the 7 1/2 inch round springform pan on the cooking pan; spray some oil on the bottom of the springform pan.
  • Arrange a layer of potatoes over the base of the springform pan. Pour half of the cream sauce over the potatoes.
  • Arrange the remaining potato slices and then pour the remaining half of heavy cream on top evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining thyme and parmesan cheese powder on top.
  • Select Roast on the Instant Omni; place the pan on the cooking pan. Set the oven to 450°F for 8 minutes.
  • Leave the potatoes in the oven for 2-3 minutes, then remove the pan. Serve them while they are hot.
