Ingredients

  • 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp thyme
  • 3 tbsp parmesan powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • lemon wedges
  • Dijon mustard
Put the masher down and try these Golden Broiled Potato Slices with your next meal. Thinly sliced potatoes are roasted to perfection in a creamy, buttery sauce -- the perfect accompaniment to any main.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the potatoes and slice the them into 1/8-inch-thick rounds with a mandolin.
  2. In a small bowl, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a microwave.
  3. Add the minced garlic clove, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 tbsp thyme, 2 tbsp parmesan powder, and salt and pepper.
  4. Place the 7 1/2 inch round springform pan on the cooking pan; spray some oil on the bottom of the springform pan.
  5. Arrange a layer of potatoes over the base of the springform pan. Pour half of the cream sauce over the potatoes.
  6. Arrange the remaining potato slices and then pour the remaining half of heavy cream on top evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining thyme and parmesan cheese powder on top.
  8. Select Roast on the Instant Omni; place the pan on the cooking pan. Set the oven to 450°F for 8 minutes.
  9. Leave the potatoes in the oven for 2-3 minutes, then remove the pan. Serve them while they are hot.
