Ingredients

  • 6 bratwurst sausage
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 orange bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 green bell pepper, julienned
  • ½ sweet onion
  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • Coarse ground mustard, as needed
  • Sauerkraut, as needed
  • 6 hot dog buns
These brats are ready in a flash! We recommend making these in large batches for easy meal prep throughout the week.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small mixing bowl, toss the julienned peppers and sliced onions with olive oil and salt.
  2. Evenly distribute the pepper and onion mixture in the air fryer basket. Top with bratwurst sausages.
  3. Air Fry bratwursts, peppers, and onions at 385°F / 196°C for 12-14 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through.
  4. After 12-14 minutes, increase the temperature to 400°F / 205°C and Air Fry for an additional 2-4 minutes, or until golden.
  5. To assemble: Spread the mustard on warmed hot dog buns. Top with a bratwurst, peppers and onions, and sauerkraut. Enjoy!
