Easy Churros with Chocolate Sauce
Lighter and quicker to make than conventional churros, these tasty treats are made from store-bought dough that gets scored on both sides to create those Churro-like nooks and crannies for maximum cinnamon sugar adhesion. Enjoy with a traditional rich chocolate sauce or a light drizzle of honey.

Ingredients
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls, 8 ct.
  • ¼ c whole milk,for brushing
  • ¼ c granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3.5 oz chopped semisweet chocolate
  • ½ c cream
  • Honey drizzle
Instructions
  • In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll out refrigerated crescent dough on your work surface and separate into four rectangles, pinching the perforated seams of each rectangle together.
  • Working on one rectangle at a time and chilling the rest, cut each rectangle into five 1-inch strips.
  • Lightly score the middle of each strip twice lengthwise to create churro-like ridges, being careful not to cut all the way through. Repeat this step for front and back of each strip.
  • Transfer strips to a plate, twist each strip three times and lightly brush with milk.
  • Sprinkle on cinnamon sugar.
  • Lay churros flat in air fryer, allowing room for them to grow.
  • Air Fry at 350°F/180°C for 4-5 Minutes. Note: as the air fryer heats up, batches will cook in 3-4 Minutes.
  • Repeat with other three rectangles of dough, working in batches.
  • As each batch finishes, top with a little bit more cinnamon sugar.
  • While churros are air frying, microwave cream in a glass measuring jug for 1 Minute.
  • Pour cream into a bowl with chopped chocolate and let sit 2-3 Minutes before stirring well to combine. Serve alongside churros.
