Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 3 tsp. salt, divided
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • ⅓ cup sriracha sauce
  • 1 cup orange juice (about 3 oranges), 1 zested
  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
  • ⅓ cup apple cider
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • Scallions, for garnish
Instructions
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of salt, pepper, garlic powder, sesame oil, ground cumin, smoked paprika and baking powder. Toss the wings in the mixture until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F / 190°C.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air Fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
  • While the wings are cooking, combine the cranberries, sriracha, orange juice, orange zest, ginger, apple cider, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over Medium heat, then reduce the heat to Low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  • Adjust sweetness or heat to taste, if necessary. Then blend until smooth.
  • Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm cranberry sriracha sauce over the wings and toss until well coated.
  • Plate the wings and garnish with sliced scallions. Serve immediately and enjoy!
