Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken breast (or 2 small)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon
  • Storebought fresh pizza dough, halved
  • 2 tbsp Caesar dressing, divided (plus more for topping)
  • ½ cup Italian-style shredded cheese, divided (plus more for topping)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Organic non-propellent olive oil spray
  • Flour, for dusting

This copycat recipe recreates Costco’s famous Chicken Bake with a few simple ingredients and an air fryer. Made with store-bought fresh pizza dough, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy Caesar dressing, this recipe delivers a satisfying and flavorful snack or meal.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rub the chicken breast with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Spray with olive oil spray. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F /200°C on the Air Fry function. Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 15-16 minutes, or until the chicken develops a browned crust and is fully cooked. Remove, allow to rest for 5 minutes, and dice into small pieces.
  2. Reduce the air fryer temperature to 350°F /175°C. Arrange the bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-14 minutes, or until crispy. Remove and crumble once cool.
  3. Halve the pizza dough and roll each portion into a 5x7-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Brush 1 tbsp Caesar dressing onto each dough rectangle, spreading it evenly.
  4. Layer each dough with half of the diced chicken, half of the crumbled bacon, ¼ cup Italian-style shredded cheese, ½ tbsp parsley, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if desired. Fold the long edges of the dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal, ensuring no gaps. Fold the short edges inward and pinch closed. Flip each dough seam-side down.
  5. Brush the top of each rolled dough with additional Caesar dressing and sprinkle with extra shredded cheese.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 385°F/195°C on the Air Fry function. Place the chicken bakes in the air fryer basket (in batches if necessary) and bake for 13-16 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the pizza dough is fully cooked.
  7. Let the chicken bakes cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with additional Caesar dressing for dipping if desired.
