Farro is a versatile ancient grain filled packed with vitamins, protein, and fiber. Mildly chewy with a nutty flavor, farro can be used in soups and stews, or another healthy alternative for recipes using quinoa.
Add 1 ½ cups farro, 2 cups water, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
Pressure Cook the farro on High for 5 minutes.
Once the cooking time is over, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release for 8 minutes on the Keep Warm setting. After 8 minutes, flip the valve to release any residual steam.
Fluff the farro with a fork. Serve as a side, or use as a base for grain-based salads.
