Ingredients

1 ½ cups strawberries finely diced, plus more to taste
2 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup whole milk
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
Pinch of fine sea salt

Sweet, creamy, and bursting with strawberries, this Strawberry Ice Cream tastes like peak summer in every scoop. Fresh strawberries blend into a rich homemade base for a frozen treat that’s smooth, fruity, and ready in minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl, mix strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice. Allow to sit 15-20 minutes, or until the strawberries have released their juices.
Mash the mixture with a potato masher, fork, or pastry cutter until there are no longer any large strawberry pieces. If you prefer a smooth ice cream, use a blender or food processor instead.
Add the strawberry mixture, heavy whipping cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and salt directly into the InstantChill™ Mixing Bowl.
Use the Ice Cream Program, set to 20 minutes.
Optional: When there are 3 minutes left in the program, add in additional diced strawberries to taste.
Once the program is complete, scoop the ice cream into bowls or containers and enjoy immediately, or freeze for a firmer texture.
