Ingredients

  • 2 cups pomegranate cranberry juice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp. hot water
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Pinch of fine sea salt

A deep, jewel-toned red sorbet with a crisp, tart bite to match. Pomegranate, cranberry, and a little lemon come together in the InstantChill Ice Cream Maker for a sweet treat that's light but still full of flavor.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and hot water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved to create a simple syrup.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the fruit juice, lemon juice and salt. 
  3. Add the simple syrup to the juice mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into the InstantChill Mixing Bowl.
  5. Use the Sorbet program, set to 24 minutes.
  6. Once the program is complete, scoop the sorbet into bowls or containers immediately or freeze for a firmer texture.
