The part where you “accidentally” eat the cake batter? This is that, but better. A smooth vanilla base, a little cake mix, and sprinkles get folded together in the InstantChill™ Ice Cream Maker in minutes, not an entire baking project.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the vanilla cake mix into a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds to eliminate any bacteria.
- Whisk the whole milk with the cake mix until completely smooth.
- Add the cake mixture, heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt directly into the InstantChill™ Mixing Bowl.
- Use the Ice Cream program, set to 20 minutes. When the ice cream pulls away from the sides and has a firmer texture, open the window on the lid and add the sprinkles. Churn for another minute or two until combined or the program is complete.
- Once the program is complete, scoop the ice cream into bowls or containers and enjoy immediately. Optionally, freeze further for a firmer texture.
