Cut chicken breast into strips (approx. 1-in/3-cm long by ¾-in/2-cm wide) and prick each strip with a toothpick.
Mix ⅓ cup flaxseed meal with ½ cup Za’atar and add a teaspoon of salt. Spread this mixture on a flat plate.
Holding the chicken strips by the toothpick, dip in beaten egg and then dredge through flaxseed flour and Za’atar mix.
On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, set the time to 10 Minutes and the temperature to 395ºF (200ºC). Press Start.
When Add Food appears on the display, remove the basket, brush the rack with oil to prevent the strips from sticking, and add them to the rack. Put the basket back in the Instant Vortex.
Halfway through cooking time, turn over the chicken strips.
Serve as a snack, with a mint yogurt dip or or in a salad.
