Vortex Plus - Tikka Masala Roast Chicken


  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece thumb- sizedfresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup whole-milk yogurt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp tandoori mix
  • 2/3 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 skinless boneless chicken thighs
  • Optional: chopped cilantro for garish and serve it with naan bread or rice if desired.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the garlic ginger, tomato paste, yogurt, garam masala, tandoori mix, salt and olive oil.
  • Place the chicken in the bowl and rub the marinade all over the chicken.
  • Let marinate for 10 minutes to an hour (or overnight if time allows).
  • Select -Roast- 380°F -for 20 minutes Press Start.
  • Once the Air Fry shows the ‘ADD FOOD’ sign, open the air fryer basket and place the chicken into the air fryer basket.  
  • Close the Air Fry basket. 
  • Once the air fryer shows the ‘TURN FOOD,’ flip the chicken with tongs. 
  • Close the air fryer basket to continue to cook. 
  • Once the cooking cycle ends, remove the air fryer basket and set it aside and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.  
  • Serve the dish with naan bread or rice if desired.
