This recipe uses 12 silicone muffin cups. Start by placing 4 tater tots in each muffin cup.
Add 6 muffin cups to the air fryer bin. Air fry at 380˚F / 190 ˚C for 5 – 6 Minutes, or until warmed.
Without removing the muffin cups from the air fryer bin, use a small jar to crush the tater tots, then use a teaspoon to make an indent in each muffin cup of tots.
Close the basket and Air Fry at 380˚F / 190 ˚C for 2-4 more Minutes, or until crispy.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the tops and air fry for an additional 2 minutes, or until melted.
Use tongs to remove the muffin cups from the air fryer bin. Repeat with the remaining muffin cups.
Once cooled, remove tater tots from muffin cups and garnish with sour cream, chives, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
