Ingredients
  • 12 eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp salt, plus more to taste
  • 5 cups water
  • Orange food coloring
  • Black food coloring
  • Ice, as needed
Instructions
  • Place a trivet inside the inner pot with 1 cup of water. Place each of the eggs on top of the trivet in one layer. Pressure Cook on High for 14 Minutes. After 14 Minutes, quick release all the pressure.
  • Transfer the eggs to a large mixing bowl with the remaining water and ice to cool down. Once easy to handle, gently crack all sides of the eggs, which will help create the spider web effect. Add in enough black food coloring to change the water color and return the eggs to the mixing bowl. Let them sit for an hour.
  • After one hour, remove the shells from the eggs, rinsing under cold water as necessary. Slice the eggs in half vertically, remove the yolks, and add the yolks to a small mixing bowl.
  • Add the mayonnaise, mustard, and salt to the mixing bowl with the yolks. Mix with a spoon until a thick paste forms. Add in a few drops of orange food coloring until the desired color is achieved. Taste and add more salt as needed. Dollop a teaspoon of the yolk mixture into each of the egg white shells. Serve with spooky decorations!
