Spicy Apple Chips


  • 4 apples
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of pequín pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Lemon juice
  • Chamoy or hot sauce
  • Core the apples. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice into 1/16-in (2-mm) slices. Transfer to a bowl, add lemon juice, olive oil, pequin pepper, and salt to taste. Mix well. 
  • On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry and then set time to 19 Minutes and temperature to 285˚F (140˚C). Press Start.
  • Once preheated, add the apples (do not overlap). Turn over when the Instant Vortex signals to do so. Once the time is up, take out and let cool. 
  • Serve with lemon juice and chamoy or hot sauce.
