Smashed Potatoes


  • 15 cocktail potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to
  • Pepper to
  • Chili flakes
  • Paprika to
  • Garlic powder
  • Oregano to
  • Thyme sprigs to garnish
  • In pot with boiling water and salt, cook the potatoes.
  • In a bowl, season the potatoes with all the ingredients.
  • Flatten with the bottom of a glass on a non-stick surface or on parchment paper.
  • On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, then set time to 10 Minutes and temperature to 390˚F (200˚C). Press Start.
  • Once Add Food appears on the display, open the basket and add the potatoes. Close.
  • When prompted by the fryer, turn the potatoes over to the other side. 
  • Finally add thyme leaves and serve with the sauce you prefer; I paired it with BBQ sauce.
