Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 Italian sausages
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 6 bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 48 oz Amber beer
  • Mini French rolls
Instructions
  • Turn on the Sauté function at 320°F for 15 Minutes and add the olive oil. Sear the Italian sausage until browned on all sides, working in batches as to not overcrowd the pot.
  • Add the sliced peppers, sliced onions, salt, and beer to the pot. Stir until everything is coated.
  • Place the lid on top and Slow Cook on High for 3 Hours, or on Low for 6, stirring occasionally.
  • After 3 hours, remove the lid and Sauté at 320°F for an additional 30 Minutes until the sauce is reduced. Season to taste.
  • Serve sausage and peppers warm on mini-French rolls. Use the lingering sauce to dip the sandwiches freely. Enjoy!
