Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup jarred pizza sauce
  • 8 oz whole baby bella mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup small-diced pepperoni
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
What better duo can you imagine than pizza plus mushrooms? Delicious and super easy to create, this addictive twosome needs to be in your life! This is where your imagination and taste buds can go wild. If pepperoni isn’t your thing, add bell peppers, olives, sausage, bacon, onions, or whatever you want! Or make a variety of toppings if you are feeding a group.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Spoon pizza sauce evenly into mushroom caps to cover bottoms. Top with mozzarella cheese and then pepperoni.
  2. Pour water into the Instant Pot. Place stuffed mushrooms in steamer basket, then insert basket in pot. Lock lid.
  3. Press the Manual or Pressure Cook button and adjust time to 2 minutes. Adjust pressure to Low. When timer beeps, quick-release pressure until float valve drops. Unlock lid.
  4. Transfer mushrooms to a serving dish. Garnish with basil. Serve warm.
