Ingredients

  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups raw pepitas
Save this pizza seasoning mix to sprinkle on other recipes. Make in advance and fry on different nuts and seeds to create a savory snack worth munching on.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and olive oil. Stir to combine into a pizza seasoning spice paste.
  2. Add pepitas to the bowl and mix to thoroughly coat all the seeds.
  3. Line the bottom of the air fryer basket with a single sheet of aluminum foil. Top with pizza seasoned pepitas in a single layer and Air Fry in batches at 385°F for 6-8 minutes, or until fragrant and toasted. Repeat with any remaining unroasted pepitas.
  4. Serve warm or cooled!
