Pita Chips

Ingredients
  • 5 pita pockets
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
Instructions
  • Cut the pita pockets into equal triangles into 8-12 triangles.
  • In a large bowl, mix the oil, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, cumin, and salt.
  • Drizzle half over the pita triangles, toss with your hands to coat the pita and then repeat with the remaining oil.
  • Divide it into 2 batches.
  • Open the lid and place the Air Fryer plate.
  • Close the lid.
  • Select the Air Fry function, press Temp and set the temperature to 350 °F and press Time and set the time to 8 Minutes. Press Start.
  • Place half of the pita carefully into the once the Grill displays the Add Food sign.
  • Close the lid.
  • Once the Grill displays the Turn Food sign, open the lid, flip the pita chips, continue to cook.
  • Once the cooking cycle is done, check the crispy pita chips. If not, extend 1-2 Minutes to make them crispy. Remove pita chips.
  • Follow the steps with the remaining pita bread.
  • Serve with hummus or your preferable dips.
