Ingredients

  • 3 cups stale bread hand-chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 heaped tsp powdered sugar or the equivalent in
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • maple syrup or palm honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Put the bread in a container suitable for the Instant Vortex. Reserve.
  2. In a bowl or deep plate, beat the eggs, milk, icing sugar and vanilla essence.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread and ensure that the bread is completely wet with the preparation. Cover with aluminum foil and reserve.
  4. Using the Instant Vortex panel, press Bake , set the time to 15 Minutes and the temperature to 180°C . Press Start.
  5. When the message Add Food appears , insert the container with the preparation into the basket of the Instant Vortex.
  6. When the Turn Food message appears , remove the basket from the Instant Vortex and carefully remove the aluminum foil from the bowl. Reinsert the Instant Vortex basket.
  7. When the end of cooking alarm sounds, open the compartment and remove the French toast.
  8. Serve immediately, optionally with maple syrup or palm honey.
