Farmed Totoaba Teriyaki, with Sesame and Peanuts


  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy
  • 2 tbsp ponzu sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 farmed-totoaba fillets
  • Black and white sesame seeds
  • Roasted unsalted peanuts
  • Garnish with finely chopped chives
  • Serve with gohan-style or steamed rice
  • Reduce the soy sauce, ponzu, honey, lemon juice and sesame oil in a hot skillet. Add the corn starch and mix well.
  • Season the fish, spread the teriyaki sauce and add white and black sesame seeds and peanuts.
  • On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, set the time to 8 Minutes and the temperature to 395°F (200°C). Press Start.
  • When Add Food appears on the display, remove the basket and arrange the fish. Put the basket back in the Instant Vortex.
  • When Turn Food appears on the display, flip the food.
  • Serve over a layer of rice and sprinkle with chives.
