Crispy Parmesan Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 large tomatoes
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Balsamic glaze

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Core the tomatoes and cut them into thick slices. You will have 6-9 slices.
  2. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, basil, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Select Roast and set the time and temperature to 325°F/162.78 °C for 10 Minutes. Press Start.
  4. While the air fryer is preheating, top the tomato slices with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Once preheated, carefully place the tomato slices into the basket in a single layer.
  6. When cooking is completed, use a large spoon to lift the tomatoes out of the basket and place onto a serving platter. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve immediately.
