Recipe Details

Course: Appetizers, Snacks

Cooking Technique: Air Frying

Yield: 15 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 lb (1 kg) cassava
  • 1 tbsp olive or sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Yellow chilli sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel and cut yuca vertically and then into 3 to 4 inch pieces for sticks.
  2. Then place sticks in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, pepper or other seasonings to taste, such as garlic powder.
  3. With a spatula, mix well until all the yuca is integrated with the ingredients.
  4. On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry and then set the time to 15 Minutes and temperature to 390°F (200°C). Press Start.
  5. Once Add Food appears on the display, add your yuccas. Close the tray and let it cook.
  6. Once the time is up, remove from the fryer. For added crispiness, cook 5 more minutes.
  7. Place on a plate and pair with your favorite sauces; my recommendation is yellow chili pepper sauce.
