Candied Bacon


  • 1 lb. thick-cut bacon
  • 8 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, cayenne, and black pepper. Lay bacon flat on a baking sheet and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly on the front and back of each bacon strip.
  • Lay the bacon evenly in the air fryer basket, careful to not overlap. Air Fry in batches at 350°F / 180°C for 12 – 14 Minutes, until crispy and caramelized.
  • Allow to cool for 5 Minutes, then serve.
