These breakfast sausage patties are the perfect meal-prep option for busy morning breakfasts. Make a large batch at the beginning of the week, freeze, then reheat in your air fryer for a satisfying addition to any breakfast dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Organic olive oil spray
Instructions
  • In a large bowl, knead together the ground pork, cayenne pepper, dried sage, black pepper, maple syrup, and salt. Make sure to fold together thoroughly until the mixture is homogenous.
  • Form 8 even, circular sausage patties, lightly flattening the tops of each.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with organic olive spray. Evenly spread out each of the patties, and spray the tops with olive oil.
  • Air Fry at 400°F / 205°C for 12-13 Minutes until golden and crispy on the edges. Serve in breakfast sandwiches, or on the side of eggs or omelets. These can also be frozen and reheated as needed!
