Season the cut chicken with salt, then wrap a slice of bacon around each piece. Thread three pieces of bacon wrapped chicken onto a skewer – so you have 4 skewers.
Combine the barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl and microwave in 30 second bursts, until the sauce is bubbling. Brush each of the 4 skewers with the BBQ glaze mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.
Grill the skewers at 400°F / 205°C for 10 minutes. Turn the skewers halfway through, brushing with extra glaze when you turn.
Once the chicken is cooked, serve immediately as a delicious starter or as part of a main course.
