Salmon with Almonds


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 lb (500 g) fresh salmon, cut into 2 pieces
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tbsp roasted sliced almonds
  • In a small bowl, mix the oil with the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Brush the salmon with the mixture on both sides.
  • In the Instant Pot® bowl, put 1 cup of cold water, the rack and, on top, the pieces of salmon.
  • Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Pressure Cook, pressure level Low, and set time to 5 Minutes.
  • When done cooking, press Cancel and turn the steam release handle to Venting. Once all the pressure has been released, open the lid. Serve garnished with roasted sliced almonds.
