4 ¼ cups ( 350 g) Manchego or mozzarella cheese, grated or shredded
Oregano powder
1 egg beaten
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup water
Instructions
Place the ingredients for the sauce in a blender and select the Puree option. Set aside.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/16 in (2 mm) in the shape of a rectangle. Spread the tomato purée, add grated or shredded cheese (set aside for garnishing), and pepperoni. Roll up lengthwise, cut into pieces ¾” (2 cm) wide.
With a brush, brush the rolls with the egg.
On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Bake and then set time to 10 Minutes and temperature to 375˚F (190˚C). Press Start.
Once the time is up, add the rest of the cheese on top along with the oregano powder and put back in for 2 minutes at 390ºF (199ºC).
Garnish with fresh parsley, serve with the rest of the tomato sauce, and enjoy.
