Recipe Details

Cooking Technique: Air Frying

Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ lb (225 g) ground pork
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 15 wonton wrappers
  • Spray oil, as needed
  • Egg white or water, for sealing
  • Tamarind or soy sauce, as desired
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix the ground pork, sesame oil, salt and pepper together in a bowl to make the filling.
  2. Assemble the wontons by placing a little bit of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper, then moisten the sides with egg white or water and fold in half, forming a triangle. Moisten the loose tips and seal (crossing them).
  3. Preheat the air fryer, selecting Air Fry at 390˚F / 200˚C for 7 minutes.
  4. Once Add Food appears on the display, open the basket, put the wontons in and spray them with a little oil on top. Close.
  5. Halfway through cooking, turn them over and spray them with a little more cooking spray.
  6. Serve with tamarind or soy sauce. Enjoy!
