Instant Vortex Air Fryer - Easy Roast Salmon and Asparagus

Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2- lb asparagus
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter - melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp herbs de Provence mix
  • 1/2 lemon - thinly sliced
Instructions
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, dijon mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon herbs de Provence mix.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the Air Fryer basket and brush the butter mixture onto the salmon fillets.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on the salmon fillets and place the lemon slices on them.
  • Close the Air Fryer basket, Select- ROAST- 400°F -15 minutes.
  • Press Start.
  • Once the Air Fryer shows the ‘ADD FOOD’ sign, open the Air Fryer basket and place the salmon into the Air Fryer basket.
  • Close the basket. 
  • Meanwhile, place the asparagus on a cooking pan, and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Put it aside.
  • Once the AF shows the ‘Turn Food’ sign, remove the Air Fryer basket and arrange asparagus in the Air Fryer basket.
  • Close the Air Fryer basket and let it continue to cook.
  • Once the cooking cycle ends, remove the Air Fryer basket and let the food rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve the salmon fillets with asparagus evenly on each serving plate.
