Ingredients
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 garlic clove
  • 1 pinch fresh rosemary
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.75 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 taco seasoning
  • 1.5 cup all purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 2 egg
Instructions
  • Add chicken drumsticks, water, onion, garlic cloves and rosemary to the inner pot.
  • Pressure cook on High for 7 minutes. When the time is up, carefully quick release the pressure.
  • Open the lid carefully and remove the chicken. Allow the chicken enough time to cool down so that it can be handled.
  • Mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, taco seasoning and garlic clove into a clean small bowl. Sprinkle on chicken.
  • Mix all purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt and black pepper into a clean medium bowl.
  • Beat egg a clean medium bowl. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs.
  • Repeat the process to ensure that the chicken is well coated. Generously spray each drumstick with cooking oil on all sides. Place the chicken in the Air Frying basket, do not over crowd the basket, if the drumsticks are too big, they can be cooked in batches.
  • Airfry for 15 minutes or until the chicken develops a golden-brown color, 400°F / 205°C.
