Creamy Mashed Potatoes


  • 4 lb potato peeled, cut in half
  • 1½ cup water
  • 1 cup milk curd, warmed
  • 8 tbsp butter, cubed
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper, ground
  • Fresh chives, as needed, chopped
  • Place the stainless steel inner pot insidethe Instant Pot® and add the cut potatoes and 1 ½ cups of water.
  • Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Pressure Cook and set pressure level to High for 20 Minutes. Once the time is up, press Cancel and turn the steam release handle to Venting.
  • Remove the Instant Pot® lid and add warm milk cream, cubed butter, salt, and pepper. Tenderize the potatoes and serve with chives to taste.
