Cranberry Apple Galette

By:

Ingredients
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, sliced
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cranberries
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • Organic vegetable oil spray
  • Powdered sugar, for serving
Instructions
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss together the apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Lay out the pie crust on a cutting board. Arrange the apple slices in the middle of the crust, leaving a 2-inch border along the edges. Sprinkle the cranberries over the top.
  • Carefully lift the edges of the pie crust and fold them over the filling, creating pleats as you go. The goal is to partially cover the filling while leaving the center exposed. This is what gives the galette its rustic appearance.
  • If the galette is too large, you can fold the edges in more, or leave them wide for a larger, more open-faced galette. Press the edges gently to help secure the folds and prevent any leaks.
  • Brush exposed crust with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the granulated sugar along the edges. Lightly spray the air fryer basket and carefully place the galette inside.
  • Air Fry at 375°F / 190°C for 15-17 Minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and stable. Carefully remove from the air fryer basket and set aside to cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
