Chilean-Style Flan (Leche Asada)

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (400 ml) of evaporated milk
  • 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) fresh milk
  • 7 oz (200 g) condensed milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Lightly beat the eggs, just to break down the yolks.
  2. Add cinnamon powder and vanilla extract and mix.
  3. Add the 3 milks and mix well.
  4. Pass the entire mixture through a strainer.
  5. Distribute the mixture in various individual Pyrex (8 cm wide x 5cm high) .
  6. On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Bake, then set time to 10 Minutes and temperature to 400˚F (205˚C).
  7. Once Add Food appears on the display, place the various individual sized Pyrex containers in the basket (bain-marie or directly into the Instant Vortex; the results will be the same). Press Start.
  8. Once ready, refrigerate for 2 Hours or enjoy while still warm.
