Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 pound andouille sausage, sliced into 1/2" pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced
  • 1/2 pound baby red potatoes, quartered
  • 2 ears corn, husks and silk removed, each cut into 3 pieces
  • 1 cup seafood stock
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
This recipe is great on those days when you need to place everything in the pot and move on to the next task. The key to a good boil is making sure you add enough seasoning to flavor all the different ingredients sufficiently, but don’t worry: This recipe has you covered with a spicy Cajun seasoning and the classic Old Bay Seasoning. If you don’t have a go-to Cajun seasoning, try Slap Ya Mama seasoning, which is found in most grocery stores in the spice aisle.
