Easy 5 Ingredient Ribs


  • 130 g tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chipotle paste
  • 60 ml water
  • 85 ml honey
  • 70 ml light soy sauce
  • 2 kg pork ribs
  • Make the marinade by mixing together the tomato sauce, chipotle, water, honey and soy.
  • Toss the ribs in the marinade, then place into the inner pot.
  • Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing.
  • Secure the lid, and select Pressure Cook. Set the time to 25 minutes, and leave the Instant Pot to do all the work for you.
  • When the cooking program finishes, perform a quick pressure release.
  • Either get ready for the grilling step, or leave the ribs in the Instant Pot on Keep Warm until you are ready to grill.
  • Using either a gas or coal bbq or your Air Fryer (on the grill function), cook the ribs until slightly charred and crisp, then serve immediately.
