    Hi. Just got an Instapot second hand today. There was no instruction manual with it. I know there is one online, but I’m old school and want the booklet that I can hold. Where can I get one?

    The official recipe (attached with the manual and pot) for yogurt by instant pot due plus fifth edition is weird. It says adding 4 cups of water but not the milk into the pot, and no way to find where to adjust the temperature. Weird!

      Hi Kaufen,

      The yogurt recipe instruction that calls for water, is only to be used when making yogurt using heat resistant yogurt cups. If you would like to make yogurt directly in the inner pot you do not need any water.

      If you have heat resistant yogurt cups, you would divide the pasteurized milk amongst the 4 yogurt cups with starter added to each and place them in the inner pot on the trivet. Then you will fill the inner pot with water until it is halfway up the yogurt container.

      For most models, there is no way to adjust temperature directly. The way to change between temperature levels for nonpressure cooking programs is by adjusting between Less, Normal, or More (Ultra: Low, Normal, High).

      For yogurt pasteurizing temperature press yogurt then quickly press adjust till the LED lights up for “More”(High).
      For yogurt fermentation temperature press yogurt then quickly press adjust till the LED lights up for “Normal”
